What are we working on?

This new website, for starters!
As we continue to build it, it will link the community through events, projects, access to and support for local businesses, and volunteer opportunities.

A downtown building inventory.
The first part of revitalization is knowing what you have to work with. Downtown Holly Springs is full of historic buildings with business and living spaces. A detailed inventory allows us to work with building owners to improve and maybe rethink their spaces. Façade and interior renovation grants can help cover costs. The inventory helps realtors and potential businesses find the perfect space.

Public Art
People who love their town want to show it off to others. Public art increases local pride and in turn, drives tourism. It creates the momentum to rethink other empty spaces. Downtown murals are the first of several public art projects in the works. Storefront window programs decorate empty windows to generate joy and buzz for the whole Square.
